Jim Sinegal

Jim Sinegal is the President, CEO and a director of Costco.   Jim and his business partner Jeff Brotman co-founded Costco Wholesale in 1983.

Prior to co-founding Costco, Jim spent almost 30 years in the retail business beginning at 18 years old while a college student.  He worked for 25 years for a discount merchandising company, Fed Mart Corporation and it's successor company The Price Club and served as Executive Vice President of those companies.
